Grant Barnhart style is genuinely impressive

The works of Grant Branhart demand attention.

‘When I was younger, my grandmother asked me if it was better to go through life chasing a dream that will never come to fruition or never having a dream to chase. She later attempted to clear out a restaurant with a two-hour wait by holding a Bic lighter into the air and chanting “fire, fire.” Here’s to the chase. –Grant Barnhart

Conversation With Asphalt Serigraph

“Conversation With Asphalt” forms a flag design for isolated youth. The text is an essay written by a child about falling off their bike combined with adult dialog of the cold war. The influence of the child’s parents becomes inherent in the writing.

“0513,
The bike comes around the turn to fast to control. The child falls hard. Trying to collect their thoughts they find them self skinned and bloody. Conversations are down and not even the Soviets are watching. It would appear time has grind to a halt. I have to wonder if this is the best day of my life.”

This limited edition print is an OKOK Gallery exclusive. It will not be offered anywhere but the gallery and my website.
